Our First Snowfall

Well, let me tell you, the world looks a whole lot different this morning than it did yesterday.

That is the view early this morning from our back porch. Yes, that's my new car all covered in snow!

Thank goodness for snow blowers is all I can say! My job was to clean off the cars and shovel the front and back porch. I've been done for about 20 minutes. Joe is still outside blowing not only our snow, but most of our neighbour's walkways as well.

I had fun with the dogs while I was shoveling the back porch.

Apparently it's fun to have shovels of snow thrown at you and to jump high in the air and try to eat it (if you're a dog).

The black dog is Dolby, he's a Whippet/Rottweiler mix, dumb as a stump. Chinook is the Shepherd mix. She has failing hips although you'd never know it from her antics this morning.

I think it's time for a hot bath (with a bath bomb, of course) and then it's time for a little sewing and maybe even a nap!

Oh, the freezing rain is expected to start anytime now. That will be fun.

Saying hello for the first time. Our dog had a ball in the snow yesterday. We are over on the West Coast and we even have had snow the past few days!!

Just don't eat yellow snow. (The biggest joke in my house with all of my boys.)

Doggie photos are cute.

The snow is gorgeous. We don't see much snow in SC, USA.

Oh I am so jealous! I've never seen snow, I'm over here right now in my summer trying to dream of what it would be like to have a white Christmas!

The dog piccies are fantastic, hehe.

You know I have never ever ever seen snow in my entire life and I think if I ever did, I will act the same mad way your dogs did. They always have all the fun don't they? LOL.

I am with Miss Meshell, its summer season for us (we come from the same city) and dreaming of white Christmases.

The snow looks fantastic and I love your dogs! They're having so much fun. I grew up with plenty of snow, but don't see it anymore ... well, very seldom.

Oooh -- your snow looks like more fun than ours! We got a little snow, and whole bunch of ice (enough to knock out the power and my plans for sewing for a night!). Love the bath bomb ideas! AND the Marie Claire pics. Ooooh what fun!

I think you need to post dog photos much more often! They are both so cute:)

We got a bit of the freezing rain, but no snow so far... I don't think I am really missing out on the snow though:)

brrrrr! It was 75 degrees today where I live! I think my system would go into shock if I was around that much snow. It does look very pretty though!

Cute pups!
