These are the books that are sitting on my coffee table right now.
I love books.
I love looking through craft books and sewing books and knitting books and lately photography books too. Occasionally, I actually make something from these books!
I have another gift card to spend at Chapters and I'm trying to decide what to buy. Felicia highly recommends Crazy Aunt Purl's drunk, divorced, and covered in cat hair but I'm sure I have enough to buy a second book. Any great suggestions?

I see some of my favourites there - and I must say, I was surprised by how much I loved The Crafter's Companion. My students have made lots of projects from it. Let me know what you think of Warm Fuzzies, I've read the review but I need to know what real people think before I buy it.
Oh and if it's a sewing book you're after then Pretty Little Pincushions is fun.
Man that pile looks tasty! Nothing better than a pretty stack of craft books. Can't wait to hear other recommendations :)
I was wishing last week that our library had the denyse schmidt book. I had to settle for Amy Butler. :)
Have you been reading my crafting book wishlist? Most of the books in your pile are on it!
Hmmm. That's a good selection. I can't think of anything for you to add. Especially since you don't do skirts!
I just got Warm Fuzzies last week, and I love it! I'm so impressed with all of the projects.
Excellent book stack you have going. I already spent my Christmas gift certificate to Barnes and Noble! I think I'm still going to pick up Cool Girls Quilt (or something like that). I like the way they used several of their fabric combinations and some of the quilting ideas.
The stack you show looks like a lot of fun! I'm going to check them out. Sorry I don't have a recommendation for you. I tend to buy sewing and crochet books. I even like to read cookbooks, but I rarely cook. Let us know what you get!
MMmm. Booooks. I have an addiction to craft books myself (I own four of the ones in your pile). That addiction is what prompted me to start my book store, actually :-)
What about "Bend the Rules Sewing" by Amy Karol? I really like that one...
Hey a geocacher! Couldn't find any posts about it in my quick fick back through your blog. I've just passed 100 finds.
nothing to add. so how is that photography book? worth it? i just saw it on some digital photography website and was seriously thinking about adding it to the amazon purchased list.
ohh i see some good ones! i find that i buy a lot of books, but don't get to make things from them as often as i'd like. sometimes, though, just looking through them when i have a free moment is just the inspiration i need.
That is too funny, I was going to recommend Understanding Exposure, but you already have it! :)
Do you want knitting or crafting or quilting or sewing? I've been borrowing like a mad woman from my library's interloans. (though, I do own several of the ones sitting on your coffee table :0P ) I've got some good suggestions either way -- let me know!
