After work I decided to go to Value Village. I walked out of there with a big old bag of buttons. Do I need them? Absolutely NOT. But they make me so very very happy.
I sorted through them when I got home and quickly got rid of the icky old white shirt buttons with thread and fabric attached to them. Once they were sorted and I could actually see the treasures, I was quite happy.
We're off to the casino tonight to redeem a coupon I have for a free dinner for two. I've been thinking about that all day long! :)

I'm just north of Toronto, and today was definitely a day for brass monkeys to stay inside!! Of course I had to go out in the cold/wind and even bundled up I was frozen. Spotted a lot of teenagers walking around with no hats and no gloves - completely impervious to the cold, lol. I remember those days, many moons ago!

That's funny that you got rid of the white ones. Just the other day I was wondering where I could get some old white buttons so I wouldn't have to buy new ones!

WOW that is SUCH a find! i have a big box of them to finish sorting, but there are so many black buttons that it's a bit daunting.
Those buttons are great! I really need to find a source for good buttons in my area...I'm suffering button envy!

I too LOVE buttons. I don't do much with them, but I sure do enjoy looking at them.
I remember as a child loving to go through my mother's button box.
