Tag-o-rama

For the longest time I've wanted a great big tag punch. For some reason I decided that I HAD to have one today, so off to Michael's I went.

I was not armed with my 40 percent off coupon, but all you have to do at the Michael's that I go to is pretend to have forgotten it and you still get the discount. I bought a humongous tag punch (regular $24.99, OUCH!), but I pretended to forget my coupon and got the discount making the price almost ok.

Anyways, I quickly went through my scrapbooking paper stash (yes, I have one of those too from my earlier days) and found some pretty papers to turn into tags.

The first batch are thank-you tags using Amy Butler paper.

Then I found some extremely cute snowman paper and thought "why not??". The glue is still wet, apparently I couldn't wait to take the picture.

Some more. Again, wet glue.

Let me tell you, they may not look like much but are they ever fun to make. AND, the best part is, I'm still stash-busting!!!!! Although, I do need to go back to Michael's and get more ribbon, but that's ok.

I have a big tag punch, too, but I don't think it's as big as I want. I want bigger ...

You are a sneaky one at Michaels!

Okay, so I saw this and decided I must have a tag punch for myself. I haven't checked Michael's yet, but I did go to Hobby Lobby this morning and they didn't have a big enough tag punch.

My question is did you just use scrapbooking paper or did you glue the scrapbooking paper to some cardstock to make it thicker/sturdier?

I've been having a time getting a tag punch over here...I need to get one on a trip home sometime. Or do you know of a website I could order one from? Your tags are super--love the papers! Wishing you & yours a great weekend! Stop by and see me sometime, or drop me a line ((HUGS))

A friend of mine walked into JoAnn's and asked if they had a coupon she could use. And yes, they did. I thought it was a weird thing to do, but it worked and I guess it just goes to show that it never hurts to ask, eh?
