I can't stop Gocco-ing.
I wanted to make some thank-you cards and here they are in all their loveliness.
I really like the cards printed on the pink cardstock but then I got to thinking...a little colour would be nice, so I printed a bunch up on watercolour paper and went to Michael's, bought some watercolour pencils (I "forgot" my coupon so they let me sign for the discount) and this is what I came up with.
I can't stress enough that I'm NOT an artist, AT ALL!! But the watercolour pencils were so easy and so much fun to use! They are my new favourite crafty item!
Now for the important part of this post, the winner of my Etsyversary contest.
Before I announce the official result, I just want to thank everyone who commented for all the kind words about my Etsy shop. I know that I blushed a million times while reading the comments and although I'm not sure that they were all deserved, they sure made me feel good!
I used this random number generator and the winner is Christy is the lucky winner!
Congratulations Christy!

Congrats Christy! Karyn, those cards are awesome. And you're right, a little bit of color to really made them pop. And you know I love fluffy flowers! LOL
Love the cards. The colored flowers are GREAT!!!
You really HAVE to stop making such fantastic cards. I'm having a hard time resisting their allure!!
Thank you Karyn, for the Etsyversary giveaway! I am so excited to be the winner. Now I'm off to your shop to see if I can possibly pick just one favorite thing. :)
Thanks again!
So you just gocco'd the cards and then used the watercolor pencils to color in the pretty flowers? What a great idea! It gives it such a pretty bit of color! Your cards are turning out so amazing:)
Karyn I just looove the cards. YOu really have to stop posting them though, because I'm getting a little Gocco envy ;)
I love everyone on your site. I want to buy it all! But being really poor and living in Nepal makes it a bit hard.
Keep up the good work.
Great new cards! Who'd a thunk the colored pencils would prove to be a new craft thing? Very nice! Congratulations to Christy ... lucky duck!
