And...I am having Hotmail issues AGAIN. I've created a Gmail account and I'm trying to decide if I like it. It is sooooooooooo different than Hotmail and quite frankly, I don't like change. What I would like to know is do those of you who use Gmail like it? I'm troubled by the fact that you can't make folders and it's a little bit clunky replying to messages.
Any thoughts? Hotmail vs. Gmail?

I love Gmail. I've had an account for prob. close to 2 years. Its great, and when you get integrated into all the Google features they work great together. Example I use the Google calendar to schedule when to pay my bills and it sends me an email reminder. And you can't make folders but you can make labels, much like blogger, so then you just click on a label and it pulls up all emails you've associated with it. It’s different that Hotmail but I like it. My Dad is also has hotmail woes and I’m trying to convert him as well. Good luck, and I hope it works out.

I just use yahoo also. Same email account for more than 10 years now. LOL
I love Gmail! You can't make actual "folders," but you can make labels, which are essentially the same thing. You create your labels, put them on emails, and archive them. If you click on a label, it shows all the emails under that label. Pretty much the same thing as a folder, right? It's cool that things can go under more than one label too!
And, I love your button bracelets! Too cute!
I have a yahoo account (our personal email) and a gmail (for my blog) and the gmail gets A LOT LESS SPAM! You can make folders, but they are called labels. Clip on the tab that says "more actions" at the top of your email (have an email message highlighted when you do this) and then click "new labels" and title it whatever you want to.

Cute bracelets. I use Gmail, and I'll admit that initially it's because my husband works there, but after time, I'm getting used to it. I was a Thunderbird user before. I still have a little confusion on who you're responding to in group emails and part of me misses folder, but I also like how easy it is to just search my entire system for something.
I am a gmail user. I hate hotmail because i don't get proper spam filters on them.
Anyway like everyone has been saying you cant create folders but labels does the same thing.
Also gmail groups the same email in one simple email so if you have an email conversation with someone, instead of these emails taking up room and scrolling down to look for these email, gmail groups them together so you will have all the conversation in one window. If that makes any sense.
I have hotmail (over 10 years now) and gmail (um, just a couple years maybe?) and I like/don't like both equally. LOL Hotmail's format drives me crazy and I wish I could clean up my gmail inbox easier. I guess I could learn how though - really I like gmail a lot more. :)

gmail all the way. i switched over way back when you needed an invite. i completely gave up on hotmail when they became incompatible with outlook.
I don't know anything about gmail or hotmail. But I would love to have one of your button braclets. They are just too cute.

I don't know if you have decided yet or not, but I love gmail. I got it when it first came out (which was years ago now) and I switched from hotmail. It was a bit tricky to get use to & I still don't like that it doesn't have folders, but you can use the labels feature & it works almost the exact same as folders...

Hi, I have Gmail, Hotmail and Yahoo. I have to say the best thing about Gmail is that you can POP access it with your email program on your computer. Yahoo can only do this if you pay. I use Outlook (and Windows Mail) to create my folders. I would much rather download my mail then try to read from any of those webpages. Just my 2 cents. I love your button bracetlets!
