More procrastinating

When I was at USA Walmart last week I picked up a plain old boring notebook. Why did I get it?? Because in Canada, in the notebook section of ANY store, all they have are spiral-bound notebooks. I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it, but after dinner tonight I decided to sew a piece of scrapbooking paper to the front. It's cute. I like it. But I want to play with sewing a fabric cover for it, but now I've used the only book I bought and I need to run back over the border to pick up more. Why don't they sell these in Canada???????

I use to do this to all my notebooks and files when I was in shcool and Uni. They were fun. I used fabric and hot glue gun and wadding. So it looks quilted as well

No notebooks in Canada? Who knew!

Very pretty with the paper and buttons.

I make my fabric covers like book covers so you can slip them off the notebook and put them on another. I just finished several of them.

You are keeping busy! I liked your wristlet/duffle bag fabric. I guess you can always put them in your etsy shop!?

That's really cute. How did you sew the paper to the cover? Inquiring minds want to know!

That is SO CUTE! How did you sew it to the cover so close to the binding?

Have you tried office stores - like Staples? At Target they only had the thread bound composition notebooks during back-to-school time, but I've seen them at Staples (an office-supply store) recently.
