New camera and a teensy bit of sewing

I bought a new camera. A Fuji s5200. I want a Canon digital SLR eventually, but this was such a great deal I couldn't pass it up.

So far we are getting along (the camera and I). But can I just say that I have spent the better part of two days now trying to figure out which settings take the best shots?????? I've said it before and I know I'll say it again, photography is hard (for me, anyways).

I made a few more zippered change purses and a few more pendants, but honestly, I've spent more time trying to photograph them than it took me to make them!

I love long weekends, I don't want to go back to work tomorrow!

Well it sure looks pretty! You'll really start having fun when you work out those settings.

I see SOMEone has been very productive.

I've had my camera for 2 1/2 years and I'm still struggling to find which setting is best for my photos.

Well, you are braver than I am. When I needed a new camera I just hunted down a new version one of my old one, but with all the pieces still attached. LOL

Yay, congrats on your new camera! I'm sure you'll get the hang of it. I've been drooling over the SLRs for a while now. You are sooo lucky!!

Hey There! Cool Camera! My camera has auto focus and that's pretty much where the dial stays. I think I'm picture impaired! LOL, but really! Love your new change purses and pendants too!

COOL! new camera. you must be so proud of your new baby!!

i'm really just learning now the proper things about being a camera person. my challenge: learning to accept the flash. i HATE it... but apparently a professional photographer uses it. and well.
