Cute as a cupcake!

I have no idea (at all) why I had to do this, but I just HAD to knit the cute little cupcake from the book One Skein.

Here's cupcake number one:

And cupcake number two:

They are completely useless, but cute as ever and terribly fun to knit!

Now you've done it... I want a real, calorie-laden cupcake. Preferably one from here. I do love these though!

They are so cute! Some things just don't need to be useful .. I suppose you could use them for pincushions if you just had to have a use for them!

Hey, i REALLY like the button on top! i'm making cupcakes for my friend as a yule gift, and wasn't sure how to make them look REALLY cupcake-y. I'm going to use pearl buttons. Thanks for the inspiration!

LOL...I saw those in the book and wanted to make one pronto as well. Luckily for me I didn't have the yarn, needles, or ability to justify it to myself. But -- I still want to make some. Hmmmn...pincushions anyone?
