Boy that long weekend went FAST!!! I had such sewing plans but it just didn't seem to happen. I did start making a purse, not a tote, just a plain old purse and I didn't get it done. I finished it up tonight after work.
The fabric is Alexander Henry Juicy Limes and Pears and the more I see it the more I love it. I may need more.
We had to go to Woodstock yesterday (about 2 hours away) so I brought another embroidery project with me figuring I could work on it in the car on the way there and I anticipated a bit of "waiting around" time. Well, I almost had it done before we even got there. I was wishing I had brought more to work on. Hopefully I get that done this week although looking at our schedule I don't see much time being spent in my sewing room.
Tonight we're off for ice cream with some geocaching friends. Yum!

"I may need more ...." Famous last words.
Cute bag. Love that fabric. I don't have that one.
Oh, Alexander Henry... *sigh*
Beautiful bag - are you going to etsy it? ;)
So cute! Unbelievable the amount of sewing you get done!
cute fabric is right - where'd you get it? i got excited at first that you thrifted that stuff. can you imagine it being at vv?
I have drooled over that fabric before without knowing what to do with it! But, your bag is just gorgeous! Almost like that fabric was meant for that very piece!
cute! I must find that fabric!
Cute purse!
I can't wait till my fabric order arrives along with that fabric:)
Hope you had a great long weekend - it was so rainy here in Vancouver that we feel a bit ripped off. But that's ok, I got a lot more sewing done and didn't feel bad sitting inside instead of 'enjoying' the outdoors. And now I've learned what geocaching is - very cool hobby. Hmm fabric or GPS, fabric or GPS?!
Love the denim combo with the fabric.
I just made a tote bag out of that fabric and my sister "stole" it when she was just here visiting.
That purse is really cute!
