Again, I have to thank Lera for sending me the blank bingo cards that she found at the Swap Shop! I was playing around on the weekend with bingo bags.
I was playing around with the drawstring bag pattern in the most recent issue of "Quilts and More". Do you know how long it's been since I've had to calculate the circumference of a circle and use pi?????? WAY TOO LONG! Anyways, once I remembered my basic high school math skills the hardest part of making these bags was sewing the circular bottom on the bag. Not easy.
I have yet to put the buttons on the second bag. The bags are the perfect size to hold several bingo dabbers. The smaller one is my first attempt and the one waiting for buttons is a better size.
I am still thinking about making tote bags using the bingo card image too!

Cute bingo bags! Oh, I love the idea of bingo tote bags! I bet they'd be a big hit! :-)
I cannot even imagine how you sewed the circle. Pi?!? You know Capello was just talking about pi on 3/14. I don't think I've thought about pi in so many years, I can't even remember when.
Those are so cute! I am using the American Jane fabrics in some bags too--I just love it!
these are too cool!
Oh Karen, those are great!
sooo sooo cute. can I let you calculate mine? I am bad at math. :*)
These are so cute!
I don't know if I could make a bag if it depended on me calculating something including pi!
how cute are those!?! Now I want to play bingo!
Now you could be on that show "Are you Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?" since you can calculate the circumference
Cute style and cute fabric! Did you manage to get that up in Canada?
Too cool!
