More Value Village Treasures

Again, I was lucky at Value Village.

A quick trip there at lunch time resulted in these ultra-amazing purchases:

The first photo is a unfinished quilt top. It's probably meant to be a wall hanging. It just needs batting, quilting and binding. I say that like I know how to do it, I really don't but I'm willing to learn. Oh...it cost $2.99.

The second picture is of two amazing pot holders. The price tag of $1.99 was for BOTH. They appear to be unused. I hope I'm brave enough to use them and I don't just stick them in a drawer because they are "too pretty".

Ooh. Lucky finds.

Good luck finishing the quilt. And USE those pot holders. (Why are we always afraid to use the "good" stuff???)

*hates you* =P hehe, I think you need to come down here to Oz and help me find handmade fabric goodies at MY thrift stores! =) (especially love the potholders!)

It looks like some fatigued crafter has dropped her stash at your local Village! I do find the sheets/fabric area to be a great place to keep a sharp eye open ...

Great luck you had! I always feel obligated to buy things like that because I think of the time it took someone to make it and then it got donated away. Sort of like honoring the seamstress if you will! So by all means use the stuff :)
