Happy New Year!!!

I can't believe it's 2007, where did 2006 go????

We had a good time last night, but I wasn't too fond of geocaching in the rain at midnight though. It was good company, good food, and a good night all around.

I'm so glad the holidays are over. Don't get me wrong, I love Christmas, I love spending time with family (especially when it's at the Casino), but it's such a relief to get life back to normal. Joe and I did pretty much nothing today. I woke up with a whopping headache (not a migraine) as a result of not enough sleep the past few days.

I had a chance to play with my new sewing machine again, and I'm feeling much better about it now. I finally figured out the automatic needle threader, thank goodness!!! I know that Joe is relieved to hear that because if I didn't figure it out, I'd still be up at 2:00 in the morning, googling "sewing machine troubleshooting" and feeling extremely frustrated.

I made ANOTHER wristlet. I know you're sick of them and I'm almost sick of them, but they are a great way to practice sewing on my new machine.

Before Christmas I splurged and bought myself two Christmas presents.

I honestly haven't had much of a chance to read through either of these books, but at first glance, both look extremely promising.

Although I have a bunch of running around to do tomorrow, I'm hoping to get a chance to flip through these books and pick a new project to try.

Your wristlet is soo cute. I can't get enough of them either so keep it up. :) I can't wait to hear what you have to say about those books. Living in Germany means I have to order English craft books online and can never look through them first. This means I wait to see what others have made first. :)

I LOVE that wristlet. Although I love the mine, too! I'm having that line run through my head though.."betcha can't have just one." :)

I went online to show my Mom the 'new' pink one you made Sunday and it was gone from your etsy shop already. Holy smokes!

Karyn, you're creating wristlet monsters in us all.. but we LOVE them! Keeping my fingers crossed you don't get sick of them too soon.

Although with those new books, your creative eye, and your motivation to try new stuff, I wait for a new blog entry (complete with pictures) with such excitement!

..teacup..

I saw the "Last Minute..." book at JoAnn's and would have bought it except it was their last copy and the binding was falling apart. I look forward to hearing what you think of it. It looked nice in the store. There is much to be said about the normal everyday routine. I'm glad things are back to normal as well.

Cute wristlet! I've been making sippered pouches and wristlets too. It's such a good way to practice sewing zippers.

Hey, the sewing is looking mighty fine Karyn! I just back-tracked and read your last few posts actually - I haven't been in blog world for awhile now. I love the blue fabric you used on the 30th post. Keepp up the good work. I htink 2007 will be an amazing year for you. Happy New Year to you and yours!
